Haunting Images

Earlier today I received an email from an unknown person.

There was barely any text. Only images with labels.

The following images may be triggering or disturbing to some. Please exit if these images make you uncomfortable.

We'll work through these in the order they are in my YouTube video.

THE FACES

They look strangely robotic, and almost uncanny.
They seem to all be female. I feel that if they weren't so distorted, they might be beautiful.

NICK
This picture almost made me sob. This is a picture of Nick from a few months before he disappeared. This is the last picture ever taken of him. His yearbook photo. It's slightly distorted, but it's definitely him.

EPITOME

I've never been MORE terrified of anything in my life. That... THING, isn't human.
As it was labeled Epitome, this might have something to do with the Project Epitome page that was linked in Avtuhay's video...

AXOLOTL
I'm... Not sure what this one means. Her face is distorted, but... I like her.
She seems... Nice. When I first saw this photo, I felt a sense of... Overwhelming joy.
I'm going to print this one out and hang it on my wall.
😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

ANNA IS A CUTIE
That's... Me. I mean, my eyes and mouth and the shape of my face are distorted, but that's my nose... My neck... My jacket... My HAIR. You can even see where I decided to give up on bleaching my hair blonde.  I took the original, undistorted photo in December. What's more, I DELETED THAT PHOTO TWO MONTHS AGO. How did this person get it?

ANNA AND NICK
Exactly as the caption says. That's me on the left (I'm a natural redhead) and Nick on the right. It's incredibly distorted, but the original photo is hanging in a frame at my parents house. This was when we were about five or six. Nick had REALLY curly hair back then...
I miss him...

BEST FRIENDS FOREVER
I hate it. I hate how distorted the photo is. THIS WAS MY FAVORITE PHOTO AND NOW IT GIVES ME THE CREEPS. The original is a picture of me (left) and Nick (right) playing in the garden when we were nine. It was the first time he ever told me he loved me.

This isn't how it was supposed to turn out. He promised me that when we grew up, we'd get married. I'd be an artist and he'd be a chef. We were going to name our first child Alyx. We were going to have a house, and a dog.

But he's DEAD.

And I'm alone.

I'll always be alone.

Regards, Anna.
